Tasco 7x35 Zip Binoculars
This pair of binoculars is made of extremely high quality metal and rubber. It is much more resilient then their cheaper plastic counterparts. They are extremely sturdy and should survive pretty much anything (within reason). The eye pieces also allows users with glasses to use them without much hassle. They do not sacrifice optical quality with their sturdy design either! They are reasonably light and compact, but much more powerful then their "compact" counter parts. The only drawback is that they are a bit more bulky then "compact" models, but at the cost of being bigger they provide a much better image quality. They are able to provide you with some of the best images, that can only be beating by much more expensive binoculars that are usually in the thousand dollar price rage.
The Zip Zoom feature comes in handy when you are trying to see small fast moving objects like birds and small critters. They allow you to focus on these animals extremely quickly, and then zoom in on them to see the greatest detail. These definitely make a great pair of bird watching binoculars.
Overall, these binoculars do a great job balancing everything binoculars should do, and they can only be beating by much more expensive models. They are eyeglasses friendly, sturdy, powerful, and light weight. The only drawback we could find is that they were a bit bulky, but as long as you can keep them around your neck it is not much of an issue. These are definitely a great buy for the money.
